Jesus Christ is The Prophet. He speaks through called-out prophets, past and present. Past prophets who are quoted in the Word are part of Scripture. Prophets since the Bible was written do not add to or take away from Scripture. They help bring the Word alive and emphasize what God is speaking currently. They do not give new revelation that is equal to or contrary to the Word of God. Read here what the prophets have to say.
