Many Christians also understand that the flesh fights against the things of God. The Church has failed in her assignment from God, and we now live in a day of danger! Christians and non-Christians are suffering the consequences of that failure. The biblical pattern mandates that all churches that are part of the Church that Jesus is building not only preach about Jesus but preach the message that He preached.One cannot preach about Jesus without preaching the message of the cross, and to preach what Jesus preached is to preach the gospel of the kingdom. One cannot become mature in Christ without being thoroughly grounded in the elementary teachings as well as in the meat of the Word. One will not comprehend the meat of the Word unless they thoroughly comprehend all of the basics of the Word, the elementary teachings. MORE

There is so much more to be learned from God’s Word than most Christians and even many churches know. I have encouraged Christians to read and study through the entire Bible on a regular basis. Unless one does so they will limit not only their knowledge of God and His Word but also the ministry that comes from the Holy Spirit to everyone who continues in the Word. MORE

Let’s repent of our separation and fleshly attempts to accomplish God’s work. Let’s realize that one of the main reasons that we have not been successful is that we have all too often tried to fulfill God’s will with our ways. God wants us to depend on Him, but He also made us to depend upon each other. MORE

We are living in a day when a large part of the Church is drawing back from the pureness of the gospel message. The Lord is looking for those who will remain loyal to Him and His Word regardless of circum-

• Tongues: A Great Blessing From God

God desires to bless all of His children, and one of the important ways that He has chosen to bless them is through tongues. Tongues is offered as a gift from our loving heavenly Father and is called the gift of tongues. He also offers us a heavenly way to pray with the Spirit, and it is called praying with tongues. MORE
