Truth
For Today
“A prophet with strong words
and a carnal lifestyle is no prophet of God. A prophet
with strong words and a calloused heart is no prophet
of God. A prophet who speaks cheap grace and cries
easily is no prophet of God. True prophets of God will
be spiritually mature, speak strong words, and have a
crying heart.”
— R. Wayne Wilson
Often, I send to those close to me
encouraging words of inspiration for the journey toward
spiritual maturity. Periodically, I send to my mailing
list rhema words and prophetic insights that
I am hearing from the Lord. These words may be words of
encouragement for the Lord’s disciples, warnings
of impending trouble or warfare, or they may be hard
words of correction and needed course changes. Many
times, these words become messages that are included in
our Messages section. We are now including these here
in their original form. May we have ears to hear and
hearts to understand what the Spirit is saying to the
churches.
THINK ABOUT IT …
If Elijah and Paul were sent back
to earth today, most pastors, preachers, and church
members would not pay much attention to what they had
to say unless they were big in their church and/or
denomination and said what their group thinks. This
would especially be true if they were relatives or from
the same home town. Jesus is proof of that!
