Rhema Inspiration - Compassion
While on earth, Jesus looked at
people with a loving heart and was moved with
compassion. The love and compassion inspired Him to
move in the power of the Holy Spirit to minister to
those who reached out to Him for help.
While on earth, Jesus also began
laying the plans for His Church that would carry on His
ministry after His ascension. According to Scripture,
He is building His spiritual body that is to carry on
the works that He did while on earth. His body, His
Church, is to have His loving heart and is to be moved
with compassion as they look on the multitudes, just as
He did. His body is to minister in His love,
compassion, and power to those who reach out to Him for
help.
Jesus Christ wants you to be a
part of His spiritual body, the Church. After you
become part of His spiritual body, He wants you to be
moved with His compassion as you look at people with
His loving heart. He wants you to allow Him to move
through you in the power of the Holy Spirit and
minister to those who are reaching out to Him for help.
Have you allowed the Spirit of God
to form Christ within you? Do you have His heart of
love? Do you look on the multitudes with compassion,
and do you allow His Holy Spirit to minister in power
to those who reach out for help?

And Jesus, when He came out, saw a
great multitude and was moved with compassion for them,
because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So
He began to teach them many things. Mark 6:34 NKJV
Finally, all of you be of one mind,
having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be
tenderhearted, be courteous … 1 Peter 3:8 NKJV
